Paul, glad you and your pax are ok.

I know how you feel as December 15, 1977, I had 16 1/2 pound goose come thu my windscreen of my C402 and broke my nose.

Doesn't sound like luck to me, he was quick-thinking and clear headed under pressure. My first instinct would be to throw that bird out!

very good thing they got down safely, very calm and cool thinking by the pilot, hard to say what one mite do in that situation.
spinning wings are better than fixed.

Wow it's a small world. I flew with Paul in that same ship back in November 2008 during his annual winter ferry flight from Cleveland to Ft Lauderdale. Good to see you made through this one too. Don't forget to pick her up slowly, ha ha.

Ya that ones kinda ugly...the one that's on the beta I fly looks like the plastic cap on a 44..only metal...all serve the same purpose.
