WOFT Selection Quotas for 09'

Recommended Posts

If anyone knows or has heard any rumors on this please share. I'm about to go for my flight physical here real soon and am trying to have my WOFT Packet submitted and be boarded by the USAREC Batallion down here in Miami, FL before the April 1st cutoff for the May WO Selection board @ Ft. Rucker.

Thanks,

Corporal P

Have you tried to contact 'Aviation Proponency' at Fort Rucker?

Here is a website:

http://www-rucker.army.mil/AP/Homepage%20.htm

I can't vouch for the currency of the info but it's a start for contact numbers. It also has other info I haven't elsewhere life the Warrant Officer Flight Training Guide.

Hope this has some info for you.

Good Luck

The USAREC website puts up a list after every board showing who was selected and who wasn't in each MOS. It's a bit of counting but I was looking at selection rates by counting how many 153A made it and how many didn't. That won't tell you how many will be selected at the next board but it should at least give you a trend to look at.

I think I remember you writing about how you did that previously. Good idea. I'll try it out. Thanks.

It looks like I gave bad information. The USAREC website used to give a list of all that were accepted and those that weren't. It looks like you have to wait for the official MILPR message now. Here's what the site says now:

Effective immediately:

1. Due to a recent DOD mandate regarding website information, USAREC will no longer post an unofficial selection list at the conclusion of each Warrant Officer Selection Board.

2. To preview future selection board results, please allow two weeks for publishing of the official MILPER Message. You will need an Army Knowledge Online (AKO) account to access the Army's Human Resource Center's (HRC-A) MILPER Message Index page.

a ) Click here if you already have an AKO account

b ) Click here if you DO NOT have an AKO account

3. Individual applicants may check the selection status of their application by using the "application status" feature two weeks after the selection boards convenes (click here) .

BOARD RESULTS:

JANUARY 2009 - Warrant Officer Selection Board Results see MILPER Message 09-007

Last Update: 01/22/2009
