Rob Lyman Posted November 1, 2009 Report Share Posted November 1, 2009 I was asked to turn in my CFI certificate last Friday.........in exchange for a new temporary certificate adding rotorcraft helicopter and instrument helicopter to my CFI certificate. I got this based on my designation as a military instructor that I earned back in 1991! Total cost? $40 and some paperwork! I will save another $85 by not needing a medical in December,since my Army National Guard military flight physical now suffices.
