MadbomberEOD
I am just wondering if there is literature for helicopter malfunctions and the proper procedures to avoid/remedy them. I can't quite recall if "Fatal Traps" has procedures but I know helps with avoiding them/looking out for the "oh sh*t" situations. Just curious because the post about "chugging" caught my interest in what else I may need to prepare for other than doing an auto and making sure I don't run into crap. Thanks,Kirk Damn, I need to dig "Fatal Traps" out and read it again.
nightsta1ker
Fatal traps is an excellent book. A must read for anyone who is seriously considering a career in helicopters. And yes, it does have avoidance and recovery procedures for most of those accidents. The only bad part about it is that it is a bit dated. I keep it close to my copy of Cyclic and Collective, by Shawn Coyle.
