The aviation community has lost a great aviator today. Steve Appleton, CEO of Micron, was a very talented pilot and a great father, husband, friend and business man. I only got to talk to Steve on a few occasions when he was at airshows or when he was at his hanger in Caldwell, ID. He did not fly helicopters but he was a great acrobatic pilot and had lots of good knowledge to pass on. He will be missed. Steve Appleton was 51-years-old and leaves behind a wife and four children. RIP
