Eric Hunt Posted January 25, 2018 Report Share Posted January 25, 2018 Butters, it is possible to be in IMC but still have enough glimpses of the surrounds to know which way is up, i.e. cheat. So for training, it is best to learn by being fully inside the cockpit, and then when you have the ticket, you will see that the real world has patches of blue interspersed with grey and dark grey.
