TomPPL
Hi All, Just came across this and thought I would share. It seems a more original flying car concept, when compared to the heavier, more difficult to land alternatives. Does anyone reckon these will have a future? http://www.gizmag.com/pal-v-flying-car/22032
SBuzzkill
Looks expensive!
nightsta1ker
They will go down as another aviation oddity. Gauranteed.
JCM5
I don't get it. It's just a street legal gyroplane. And how in the world is this practical?
Pohi
Example: Living in riverside, work in LA. Drive to riverside airport, fly to an airport by where you work in LA, and drive to work. Would easily save an hour of travel each way. Not too shabby, IMHO.
Pohi
Granted, a person could probably buy a used 172 and a used car, station the car at LA and do the same thing for less money, but the theory is still the same.
mrkik
It actually looks kind of cool. Anybody here ever flown an gyrocopter? They seem... interesting.
Mikemv
In January I flew the AutoGyro Calidus model at the LSA Expo in Sebring and saw it again last week at Sun n Fun in Lakeland, Fl. It is very smooth and stable like an airplane and that is the way you fly it, like an airplane. www.autogyrousa.com/calidus-autogyro-info-sales.asp ► 4:57► 4:57 www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hh3ty8IviIQ
