  • Interests:Fixed Wing and Helo trucker. I enjoy being a chopper jockey, and trying to figure the world, people and belief systems out. I'm not very good at it, so it keeps me real busy. I scribble, blog, run a website, (www.writersharbor.org) run rental houses, ride motorbikes, and read as much as I can. I went solo 44 years ago, and I like to say I'm gonna get me a real job one day. When I grow up. ("but not just yet, Lord, not just yet")

Funny stories! - One of my writers at Rotorcraft Pro Magazine shared a story of a difficult customer --- we have all had them. What is important is how we handle them.

@ aeroscout.

Hi buddy. All the usual riff-raff, eh?  Just thought I'd try and lower the tone. As per usual. No target too sacred, eh? What?

@SBuzzkill      Whoa Pardner! Not so fast!  Read this one. Go on. You gotta. Be a devil!  Never mind the car. Have a beer.  This one deals with a passenger, and an ODOR  issue....

Thank you. That is sage advice. I bow my head.  Hummmmm..... I'm emotionally moved. In fact, I feel a real emotional movem.... You remind me of an old, old, TRUE story I scribbled this morning. Hang on, see if I can find it.... (trips over folders, unzips wrong files, and nearly deletes the Honey-Do list...) (all one Gigabyte of it)

Yep. Here it is, for whattit's worth. Probably-not-a-lot.

I appreciate that, -but………….. George “Doc” Thompson, Verbal Judo….

For us pilots, leave out step #5, the "ACT" part of the equation……
