Past life time ! Lol

Curious how my fixed wing experience converts to whirly birds...

You will have more flight time than any active duty company level pilot you will meet.

I know my fixed wing time helped me.

I hope you aren't my roommate and/or that the Army tacs aren't as psycho about the whole white glove inspection thing. Can't tell you how many times someone failed room inspection because one little tiny hair was found near the shower drain or stuck to the side of the wall. Going over the sink area with a fine tooth comb is one thing, trying to do it in a shower is not as much fun. (Btw, we never shaved our face in the shower)

So class date is oct2. Anyone here at rucker yet? My spouse be looking for ppl to meet that enjoys working out etc, in case your spouses are looking for the same. I actually have to go back to san Antonio soon to finish off my active duty time in air force until ship date.

Check this FB group; a lot of my friends' wives are on here, and they are all cool!

Hmmm... what part of training are you in now? Im here in rucker now. ANYTHING I should scope out while I'm here as an outsider? I'm still active air force until sept16. Then I come back to train :)

I'm stoked.

Just starting fright school; first Systems test on Thursday. I suppose you could scope out housing if you want, although there's such high turnover here that whatever you look at now won't be available by the time you finish up WOCS, though you can get a good idea of what the townhomes look like in different neighborhoods (unless you choose to live on post). I live in the Wakefield neighborhood, which is a conglomerate of townhomes and nice apartments off Freedom Drive off of Rucker Blvd. The actual townhouse I'm in is *really* nice; others are less nice but still very decent for the price.

Other than that...I mean, it's lower Alabama. The biggest thing that happened here in the last few months was Chick Fil-A opening (and Jimmy Johns!).

Um...have you forgotten the only thing that actually matters in the world...?

Enterprise finally approved draft beer a few months ago!
