crashed_05 Posted July 26, 2014 Report Share Posted July 26, 2014 In the market for a new flight helmet. Was going to refurb my Gentex HGU 84, but decided it would be best to just get a new one. After scouring around on the net, I'm drawn towards the newer Evolution 252, but I can't find any reviews on it. Has anyone here used this helmet? I like that there is an option to put a bose A20 headset in it, that is attractive to me but I know its a newer helmet. What has been your experience? crashed_05 Posted March 23, 2015 Author Report Share Posted March 23, 2015 Sorry it's been a while. The EVO is great. Very comfortable, and excellent as far as quality to cost ratio. The only problem I've had with it is finding out its not approved by the forest service. I'm now using it as a back-up and using my newly refurbished gentex.
