cptamerica2
I know four guys plus me that are all 1LT(p) or CPTs that have been selected in the past 6 months to resign and become Warrants. From what I understand through the new Warrant Recruiters, that option is about to go away. Additionally, My neighbor is a former CW3 who became a 2LT via direct commission into med svc branch.

Velocity173
Could one resign their WO commission, then apply to OCS? Yep. Knew two guys who did that and didn't even have degrees. They are given a certain timeframe for obtaining their degrees after commission though.
cptamerica2
The latest OCS Milper message states that you have to have your degree already and be E6 or below with less than 5 years Active Service to apply.
