1000PIC job outlook in August?

Looking for some advice for getting a job in the late August/September part of the year as a 1000 hour pilot.

I understand most jobs are seasonal like Alaska and from what I've seen most operators won't hire this late in the season or keep someone on through winter unless they've been working for them the entire summer season. Any advice or leads would be much appreciated. I have mainly Robbie experience flying tours, instructing, ferrying, frost prevention, game and pipeline surveys. I'm looking for something to keep me current and paying off my loans.

Thanks!

I'm all signed up for heli-success and will be heading down south in a few days. Thanks for the replies guys

That's your best bet. Get to 1200 hours if you can...and be prepared to make a 2 year commitment and go fly tours in the EC130......also...dont make any plans to fly back on Sunday.....fly back Monday afternoon just in case you get a shot at an interview Monday.
