Coming changes in selection process

Recommended Posts

Submit your packet NOW. Even if you aren't selected you will be automatically looked at the following board which would still give you time to improve your packet. It's a win-win. Nike. Just do it.

Lindsey suggesting to submit a packet sooner rather than later?

Now I've seen everything. ;)

Heck ya, basic would have been better if all the high school kids didn't show up! Lol.

I made it though and made the best of it... I was the grandpa of the bunch! I'm at Rucker now and will be checking in Monday morning, let the fun begin... Again!

BWS here I come! Maps are being compressed under a 100# plate in the garage atm. Glueing will take place with a cold one later one tonight. :D

Nice! I'm at 9.9 hours in primary. Don't want it to end!

I had beautiful maps meticulously drawn out. Then the glue made my red pen bleed into lovely pink outlines of all my hazards... I was bummed. LoL

We had a National Guard Capt., who was a computer programmer for IBM, and owned a commercial printer. He wrote a program that compiled all the hazards, RTs, etc etc onto the maps, and printed them out for a $100 fee. He made a killing until the school shut him down. Best money spent during flight school.

  • 3 weeks later...

Its not hard to improve the APFT man. Check out Military Athlete, Rob Shaul has a ton of programs, one specifically designed for the APFT. Following his, with shin splints and running 1/2 the programed distance everyday, I went from a 270ish to a 290 this morning in just over 4 weeks.

Just wondering which plan you went with. Is it the APFT plan or the Army BCT Training Plan?

I did the APFT plan, but only did 2/3 the mileage for running ( I had shin splints bad) and improved a lot. I also got the Army OCS plan, and plan on doing both again when I return from deployment.
