napoleonpp
Unless something changed, whether we use rated or qualified doesn't matter, once you're complete with Primary/instruments/BWS you aren't rated or qualified in ANY aircraft because you haven't completed the entire course for that aircraft (nights, goggles, tactics, sling loads, whatever). Whether you're a 72 student or 58/67 student, same result. Are you saying that fixed wing for life doesn't have to have a rotorcraft cert anymore and are going straight from primary to c12We didn't get to do sling loads in the 64 course

apacheguy
Damn, 64E was sought after pretty heavily this time around. I hope that CPT wanted 60's... haha. AV Branch usually pushes active duty CPT's into the 60, since it's a simpler aircraft to learn than the 64 (or 58 used to be).

Good to know. I guess it's a good thing I didn't opt for the branch transfer route, even though I'm indifferent to what I fly honestly.

Lol, my buddy threw in the towel and went to Cyber Warfare instead of re-classing to 64 or 47. Oh well, his loss. I think I took the better road personally anyways. Haha.
