With a 92 you can be pretty well bet that he has a good GT as well.

Shindig you've got a long way to come before you're ready to throw your weight around. You definitely need to do some soul searching about this career.

I either got a 126 or a 122, ive got to check with my recruiter. ..

Im just going to try my hardest every day because i'm very determined....this is my dream and i want to make it come true and serve our great military...i just started looking at some sift q's so i just hope i can do well on that. my recruiter is going to give me a practice fitness test next week...but my worry is im really not sure i can do any full pushups...i've just never been strong in my arms and chest. The running i hope I can do ok but we will see.

See the GT is weird, a very high asvab yet not that crazy of a gt. Still pretty good just not outstanding. Shindig, I am by no means dissing you. I do think you need to work on your people skills though, it will go a very long way.

What? I got a 99 on the asvab, and had like a 128 for GT. Seems about right.

If WOFT is what you want then go for it. I have faith that the drills and TACs you meet along the way will fix any issues that need fixing. Go out and do push ups. As in right now, get off the internet and work out.

Are you noticing a trend, yet? Not a single thing you've said yet was taken the way "you meant". Which means to me either you ARE a troll, or are just...incomprehensibly ignorant. I suppose there's room for another option, but I don't know what it is.

If you're legit, you don't belong anywhere near an aircraft (maybe jumping out of it), at least at this juncture in your life.

As an ex-leg, who's hopped out of a few helo's in theater, I resent this statement.

For the record, some of the smartest guys you will ever meet are presently serving as infantryman, and some of the dumbest. Just saying...

Had to say it, that is all.

Since its only the sum of three sections its possible to have a high overall and a low gt, and vice versa. Great on word comprehension and math but "cant ride a bus on your own" kinda smarts will net a high gt but lower asvab overall. Or as the Navy calls em "Nuclear Qualified" (If any nukes are on the forum, not meant to insult, but you gotta admit its it's own breed.)

Pushups are a... challenge. Swimmer, runner, no problems with the USA physical test tasks (except the low-crawl), pushups were a challenge. Did about a million, the Army is/was big on them.

Anyhow, now I'm almost 66 and a friend (who's a trainer) told me I'm doing them wrong, hands too far forward. Technique makes a difference.

so i was talking to my grandpa a while back about being a pilot and how much i'm really pushing to do this....and he was really happy and impressed with me. Well he came over today and gave me a helo simulation game called search and rescue. Im not a big video game player or anything like that but i was wondering if a simuator like this might help me on the sift at all? Ive already got a study guide for the sift and was doing some questions but i want to make sure i leave every stone turned over because i know i only get one shot at the sift unless i don't pass.

You all realize that this person is sitting in their Mom's basement somewhere laughing with every post he/she makes.

I was wondering if they would start posting what they had for dinner to get a comment about how each food group would affect the sift score...
