I had one PDF I already had from online but my buddy used it awhile back and the IP said he was kind of right. Thought I'd try and find something better and think I did. Unless you are fixing the NVGs themselves, the level of knowledge required is in the -10. Does -20 level knowledge help you fly any better with goggles? Does -20 level knowledge help you fly any better with goggles? Half the stuff they already ask you to know is useless, NVGs and beyond. If you can give me any reason to know that there's an I2 tube inside, and that it's multiplying the photons, but the image is reversed, blah blah blah.... It's a good academic class to know that it's not just a magic tube, but beyond that, it does nothing for me. The only thing you really need to know is there's a minus blue filter (For funsies: what color is, it?) because that explains why blues don't show up. Maybe the LIF (shhh). The whole concept behind knowing all of the mechanical things to the level of detail that you're expected to know as a PI, or even as a PC is a bit insane. Teach me in academics, but don't expect me to know it, if there's not a good reason. (Malfunction analysis would be a better topic to spend time on. Sometimes that in-depth knowledge comes in handy to explain the malanal, but often it doesn't.) 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There are at least 3 other users of this forum who know who shindig is. Anyways... i will say that his trolling skills are quite impressive.. But if you read his posts in a chronological order you will see that shindigs 'outrageousness' varies greatly... He made it to obvious that he actually knew what he was talking about sometimes, while at other times he would just post gibberish.. There was to much of a discrepancy. I would be willing to bet $ that he is doing very well at whatever stage he is currently in. I'm pretty confident I know who it is. in any case, Goodluck Shindig, I know that you're 100% legitimate in real life.
