MichaelRyanSD
I haven't got orders yet, I'm AD and would be going to the 7 week course. I got selected on the May 15 board, even though I was a month past the deadline, there was a reason why I didn't apply for it and was applying for the July 15 board. Not to sound like an ungrateful little sh*t, because I'm f*cking jacked on being picked up. But is there anyone I could call before the orders are cut to see if they could give me a class date more in line with what I was shooting for. shainbourassa
Just a heads up there are only a few 7 week classes per year. I believe it's either 2 or 4. A few guys that failed out of my class which stated in May, are hold-overs till August sometime.
Creep0321
PM me if you want someone specifically to contact. This individual was able to help me out (I was selected in Jan, going to WOCS in Sept due to my wife being due with our first kid in Aug.)
USCav19D
On that note, congratulations! Enjoy that wild ride man, it's a complete game changer - but in the best way possible.

StockTrader
What in the world did they do to fail out?Bunch of stuff. We had a few drop for PT, couple for academics, one ruck march, land nav, and one for an honor code violation.

shainbourassa
Haha not much of a story; he slept on top of his blankets. It doesn't take much for an honor code violation.
USCav19D
I take it that this is something explicitly unauthorized. I know I did it during OSUT (except for one night where I was sick as a dog).
shainbourassa
Yes, every night you have to sleep on top of the sheets, you can fold the blankets back and not sleep under them you just can't sleep on top.

Also I thought they didn't drop people for PT, only for people who fail the PT test?

dirtyfoot
And this is why I am grateful for WOCS despite the silliness. I'd never want to fly with anyone who couldn't make it through.
