MuffinMan
Just a quick question. I'm plan on submitting my packet before the January 2016 deadline for the March 2016 board. I've got one of my LORs signed and finalized, the others are being drafted currently. Do all of the LORs from current Army personnel need to be in Memorandum format? The draft written by the O3 for me is not yet in Memo form and I just want to clarify before asking him to rewrite it essentially. Finally tracked down a CW4 aviator also! ( They are like unicorns trying to get a hold of one in person while being a civilian ) Any advise on this is greatly appreciated.
StockTrader
The CW5 who wrote mine did it in memo format. Sent one to me like a word doc and another on the DA form.
Yamer
I think for civilian packets it can either be memo or letter format. Not positive but if I remember back from another post around here somewhere it didn't matter either way. The CW5 that wrote mine did it in memo format but I don't think it is specific for civilian applicants.
Luofynerd
For civilians it doesn't matter. AD has to be the usarec form. Sister service can use either or as well I believe.
