January/March Board

Recommended Posts

Age: 28

GT: 123

SIFT: 64

College: BA in Government and History with a GPA of 3.2

APFT: 255 ( I will retake it again before my battalion board )

LoR : (2) 0-3 AH-64 Pilots, a 0-4 in the coast guard, and a 0-6 in the air force. I would like to reach out to any current Warrant Officers to speak with them about my packet, the application process, and life in the army beyond what my recruiter tells me.

No medical waivers, but my flight physical is back logged right now and is holding up my process. Is there anyone / place I can call to check on the status of my flight physical?

It would be optimistic to think that I would be able to make the March selection board, but hopefully I can make the May board. If anyone can offer advice it would be greatly appreciated.

For you future candidates going to basic soon. Use that time to get into peak physical shape. The workout regimen there is not good for gym rats, but it's amazing at turning civilians into soldiers. However, you are not only becoming a soldier, but an officer for the United States Army. You have no excuse to not workout on your own. WOCS will be so much easier for you if you come into the school in great physical shape.

Also, don't be the class douche.

MuffinMan and I are also in that class. Maybe you'll be joining us at Benning for BCT as well.

Found out my actual ship date from MEPS to BCT is 23MAY and then my report date to WOCS is 11AUG.

I'm wondering if Benning has several different basic training start dates within 2 weeks of each other. I figured they would have everybody start each class at the same time

If it's like Jackson, each BCT battalion picks up a week after the other. That's why there is a graduation every week.

Call Aeromedical at Fort Rucker: 3342550749

Just say you're calling to find out the status of your physical.
