January/March Board

I honestly don't know what that means. I was listed on the MILPER Message with my new assigned unit. Only thing I can think of is Reserves are a different process.. Or bc I'm an E4 without WLC..

"AN OFFICIAL MEMORANDUM OF NOTIFICATION WILL BE SENT WITHIN 10 BUSINESS DAYS TO EACH SELECTEE VIA THE ENTERPRISE EMAIL SYSTEM. THE NOTIFICATION MEMORANDUM INCLUDES NEW UNIT ASSIGNMENT INFORMATION AND ADDITIONAL SCHOOL SCHEDULING INFORMATION"

Directly from the Reserve WOSB MILPER. Have you checked your enterprise email? If not, login to AKO using a CAC card and check your email.

"THE UNITED STATES ARMY RESERVE COMMAND (USARC) G-1 WARRANT OFFICER INITIAL MILITARY TRAINING (WOIMT) OFFICE PROVIDES AN EMAIL COURTESY COPY TO THE FOLLOWING: MAJOR SUPPORT COMMANDS (MSC), O&F COMMANDS, THEATER SUSTAINMENT COMMANDS (TSC), AND THEIR COMMAND CHIEF WARRANT OFFICER’S (CCWO’S). A COPY IS ALSO SENT TO EACH GAINING AND LOSING UNIT COMMANDER."

Also directly from the MILPER. Worst case, go through your CoC and see if your commander received notification as well.

If your name was on the MILPER message, then you were selected. There were no non-selects on the reserve message. As far as a school date, there's no telling when it will happen since AD guys will get priority on school slots over Reserves. Just keep looking for it. It'll come soon.

Hi everyone,

I've posted here before but I have updates for stats.

Age:27

SIFT: 66

APFT: 295

Civilian Education: BS in Political Science

Flight Physical: Done, Stamped, uploaded

LOR: O-4 (aviator), CW4 (aviator), CW4, (aviator), O-3 (Friend), CW5 (previous CO), Lawyer- personal friend.

Bn Board: Standing by

I'm coming at this from the civilian side since I'm in the IRR right now. According to the schedule I'm on, I see the packet due date for civilians is February 24th (according to dates in the recruiting office). Is anyone else on this same schedule? The USAREC site states that I may already be behind. Any input is appreciated.

If I happen to make it, I hope to see the rest of you along the way!

Just submit your packet when it is ready. The board deadlines are really just guidelines. I submitted my packet a week before the November board met and it was boarded on the November board. Don't get hung up on deadlines... seriously just submit it when you feel it is ready.

So I've received my WOCS and WOBC dates via email. My question is for any other inter-service transfers.

Did your orders for BCT come via email as well or did you have to get those from a MEPS station?

TA,

If no one gives you a concrete response on this, just call:

Dorothy - WO Accessions

(502) 613-6292

She processes all accepted candidates and sends their paperwork to HRC assignments. She will have the answer you need.

For Army guys, we do receive ours via our government e-mail. I would assume that you would as well since your e-mail was included in your WO packet... but just call and ask.

Correct. As a Navy guy I received my instructions via government e-mail (same as on my application). Instructions were pretty specific about contacting a recruiter, PCS, etc...

Rogersndr,

I think you and I are in the same boat in regards to the civilian board. My packet had to be submitted by the 24th, I have the interview next week, and it appears the board convenes on the 14-18th.

Does this sync up with your schedule?

Well hopefully the submission dates are different. The recruiter told me I need mine submitted the 3rd of March. I just got done with my security interview a couple days ago. Now I'm ready to submit for March. Also though they said my Board is the 10th.

Hopefully what they telling me is true, because they have screwed up every step of the process thusfar.

Where is your Flight Board? Mine will be in Kansas City.

The going Intel on that seems to be 10 days prior. However, I would recommend submitting as soon as it is ready, even if it is the day before the march board. Either you get looked at (great) or it rolls to the next board.

I completely agree, though the recruiters are incredibly slow. I've been trying to contact them to ask if it's been submitted. No answer, so I'll be going to town Monday to see them in person and see this done.
