Luofynerd
That seems like a high number of civilian applicants. Hopefully the active duty numbers look similar. Congrats to all civilians selected.

TSU2007
Who did your recruiter contact to get the results? My recruiter contacted the BN ops and he wasn't expecting results until mid next week and then tried HRC but they didn't have anything for him. Squids I'm on the list he has but I'd really like confirmation from someone before I start my happy dance.
Adams88
If you are a civilian applicant the results were published 18 July. According to the paperwork your recruiter had 72 hours to inform you of the results, and you have until 3 August to enlist or you will have to redo the warrant officer board. I have the list if you want to message me I will check for your name. Congratulations again to all the other accepted civilians! I will be swearing in on Tuesday! Does anyone have an idea about the length of time it is from swearing in to leaving for basic?SteveO I am sorry about your situation and it doesn't seem like it is directly your recruiters fault, but that is utter BS that your recruiter would make up an story to tell you. I agree with the other posters here, if you have the option to go to another recruiting station do that or try to go through your battalion station yourself. Your stats look amazing, I wish you the best of luck in September.
Dgonz004
Hi Everyone, just updating for stats reasons. I was FQ-S! stats below: Military Experience: 6 years, all in USMC Reserve. One Deployment.GT Score: 118Civilian Education: BS in Political ScienceFlight Physical: Done, Stamped, uploaded, visually verified the stampLOR: O-4 (aviator), CW4 (aviator), CW4, (aviator), O-3 (Friend), CW5 (previous CO), Lawyer- personal friend.Bn Board: 75/75Flight Time: none...bad thing?Applying as a civilian. I'll be heading to MEPS next Tuesday for a physical inspect and then to swear in.Congrats to all the other civilians selected! I hope to see some of you soon and begin this new career path. I've been perusing this link to look for school dates. It may help if these courses are still in play.https://www.atrrs.ar...scc/course.aspxThe course number is 911-09W If there is anyone searching these forums and happens to be in my shoes feel free to contact me. I was a Marine reservist who was still in the IRR and had to apply from the civilian side. It was a tedious process but I logged everything that I needed to do so I could pass the information on someday. Big thank you to Squid for the early information. Real heroes don't wear capes. Congrats and good luck AD applicants!

flyplz94
FQ/S here! I slept much better Tuesday night thanks to Squid! Just for the sake of information, I'm an active duty Marine and many of the Marines I have talked to think they can't do a interservice transfer. I am here to tell you not only can you do it but if you are within a year of your EAS you can be boarded with the civilians. I didnt know this til my CW5 interview. It took me about 2 years to do. If you want more specific information just PM me. Â The bread and butter of any package I think is your Letter of Recommendations. I grew u p right outside of Fort Rucker and EVERYONE has told me that. Once you get six influential active duty LOR's everything additional is just the toppings. I don't have any college as of right now and NO deployment history (been at a training base my whole time active and it's my first contract- Admin) I wouldn't have had a chance on the Active Duty board in my opinion. Needless to say, I'm psyched for this opportunity. Been watching those choppers fly over since I could remember. Best of luck to everyone selected and everyone still gunning for a spot. See you guys at Rucker!

ThanksThe last guy from my recruiting office shipped out thirty days after swearing in. He was prior service Army and had to do boot camp all over because of the length of his break in service. I'm sure it all depends on the Army though. This is the best answer I can give. Anybody got dates yet?
Dmurray
I think a month is a pretty standard answer. Could be a little longer, could be a little shorter. That's definitely the right neighborhood though.
StockTrader
I've seen anywhere from 1 month to 5 months. It all depends on how the dates line up.

AspiredRotary
Does anyone know how in depth the physical at swear in is? I was just at meps before my packet went in because mine was expiring. Id hate to do 2 in a month. I've heard it's mostly just height/weight check.
Dgonz004
It's called an "inspect physical". They just check height and weight to make sure you're not nasty all of a sudden.
steve0
How long does the meps physical stay valid? I had mine done in December I believe. Maybe January

Sw7ft
Hey guys, first time posting, but I've been following this forum for a while now. I've been selected for the July board and will be swearing in this upcoming Tuesday. Â Wondering if there are any prior service guys or any one in general having to do basic again or for the first time. My recruiters told me I wouldn't have to do it again, but I don't really believe them since my break in service was greater than 3 years. Â Basically wondering, who's heading to BCT?
