Adams88
I am sworn in and I leave for BCT sept 26 at Fort Sill.... 61 days and counting!
Sw7ft
I have but the currently have me slotted for "7 weeks and 2 days." No one at MEPS today gave me a straight answer. Even though on the WOCS site it says "NCOs who are fully qualified/selected (FQS) and fall into one of the following categories are required to complete the Phase 1 (DL) instead of the resident."I suppose that is something I will have to hash out in the coming weeks. Edit: selectees might want to check out these two sites http://www.usarec.army.mil/hq/warrant/WOgeninfo_after_selection.shtml http://usacac.army.mil/organizations/cace/wocc/courses/wocs Thanks for the info, let us know if you manage to get switched to the 5 week cycle. Dmurray
Â Thanks for the info, let us know if you manage to get switched to the 5 week cycle. Thanks. I will know for sure once my orders post. My situation is rare because I'm going from reserves to active duty. Even the guy at MEPS said he had never processed someone in my situation. Time will tell I guess. Â Any active duty find out if they were selected yet?

Dgonz004
I've known about my selection for a week thanks to Squid and from my planting myself in the recruiters office last week yet I JUST got the call from higher up letting me know I was selected from the civilian pool. I know the military has a habit of not passing down info in a timely manner but jeez, a whole week???

Gotch86
Parris Island, SC man. Good luck brother!Hey do you know if Cpls Course counts for PLC and I assume you just go from where you are straight to WOCS? If you don't mind let me know what you go through after selections as I imagine my process will be similar.

Be at least an Army or USMC E-5 or above prior to entering the program and a graduate of the WLC/PLDC (or equivalent)"Â That is to be eligible for phase 1 WOCS DL
bullismt
I think it came out Thursday last board. Might be wrongYeah, you're right. I looked back on the board dates and then on MILPERS when they released the selection list, and it usually was a Wednesday or Thursday following the board. So hopefully it will be released within the next day.

If you don't mind let me know what you go through after selections as I imagine my process will be similar.Right now I'm having a hard time even getting to MEPS. I was suppose to go this morning but my recruiter is fighting them about physicals and stuff. It's a pretty complicated situation right now and I'm not completely sure what the hold up is. I'll be sure to let you know how everything pans out. I do know I'll be going to the 7 week course and I have Corporals course completed. If you have Sgt's course done it might be able to put you in the five week course.

I'm bringing my Corporals course and Sergeants course info with me when I go Monday. I can ask if Cpls course PME is passable if you're going after me. I can ask if Cpls course PME is passable if you're going after me. I'm not in the Army or A Marine. I'm in the Air Force and I have completed ALS(what you need to become an NCO), NCOA(what you need to become a SNCO) and I conpleted SEJPME (Senior Enlisted Joint Professional Military Education) would I still have to do the 7 week course if selected? I'm a E6, I would think all of my PME would be valid. It's all on my RIP. What do u guys think. If selected I'll call HRC and have my Chief look into it. I know I have to go to Basic. I would imagine with Cpls and Sgts course your would be gtg. But in all reality even if it doesn't its only another 2 weeks. In the grand scheme of basically an 8yr contract to start... its nothing.
