chopsimdev Posted June 2, 2016 Report Share Posted June 2, 2016 As a short brief, I have background with a PC combat flight sim called Digital Combat Simulator, which among other products includes a module featuring a very detailed and well modeled UH-1H (with weapon systems). The canned module already includes some training missions and a manual to help new player-pilots learn essential operations, however I am interested in creating a mode in-depth and realistic training campaign for the sim that would potentially be offered for sale as a separate addon product. I have expertise in the software and can build the missions themselves, but could use assistance from somebody who has done it for real to help make the campaign more engaging and reflective of the actual experience in terms of curriculum and flight ops. It is anticipated that there will be a huge pilot shortage from all of these pilots retiring nearly all at once, I was told by an industry expert that its just around the corner. While the discussions here are higher quality, this board is not nearly as active or diverse as those groups.
