If someone can help me with the following, that would be great!! I'm just looking for general knowledge and info, unless you have specifics.

1. Phoenix interview - just general overall process, need to know stuff

2. Part 135 test - what does this consist of, what to study, etc

3. Initial Flght Interview - see above

Any other info that is good to know/prepare for before going.

Thanks!

If you were a flight instructor at any point, it's a breeze. You don't need to know much about 135, but 91. If you can fly, that won't be a problem, either. Smooth pickups and set downs, basic navigation, holding altitude, etc. I did not work in AirMed, but PHI is pretty standardized.

I was never a flight instructor in helicopters, fixed wing only. But I assume it's your basic general helicopter knowledge?

Thanks for the reply!

Written test: Basic part 91 stuff

Oral Interview: Basic questions, no prep needed

Flight Review: Do you know how to fly? Do you do civilian set downs or blackhawk smash downs?

There's nothing tricky about it. The instructors in PHX are really good, cool people btw.
