In the EC 155 B1 flight manual APPROVED ALT. / TEMP. ENVELOPE IS FROM - 40 TO +50 .

But in the helicopters TYPE CERTIFICATE DATA SHEET due to some modification the operating temp. is different .

My question is ,

Which one should be considered for the flight , FLIGHT MANUAL or Helicopter's TYPE CERTIFICATE DATA SHEET ?

Many tnx.

From the quick reading I did, it appears that the operating temperatures become restricted by different oil/fuel types being used(mineral vs synthetic). Personally, if there is a limitation in place, whether from the FAA or operators manual, I would err on the side of caution and stay within the more restrictive limitations.

Then again, im not a dauphine pilot and someone with more experience than me may have a better answer.
