As far as recent selectees getting into WOFT straight from high I'm not entirely sure, there is bound to be somebody on here though. But there are TONS of street to seat people on here who may have better insight. Stay motivated! Best of luck

Not sure how often it happens, but also not sure how many HS kids actually get a decent looking packet together, which yours appears to be. Good luck. Luofynerd
I wouldn't worry about a 3.5 high school gpa. The rest of your packet looks good I'm sure with your stats.
mike0331
I guess it's all about the competition, but I had a 3.0 out of highschool and am doing just fine in a great law school... I think that's a solid GPA. Mike
Griffin99
Thank you for the encouragement about the GPA. I`ve been following the write ups and forum posts for about a year now so its nice to hear the packet looks good. Thanks for all the resources you guys have up here, its helped a lot.

Luofynerd
Luofynerd, Run more 400s and 800s. 3 mile runs won't really have much of an impact on your 2 mile time. Of course running doesn't hurt, but I promise you more high intensity intervals will drastically improve your run time. Example -- Monday - 6 x 400m, run 1 walk 1. Keep them under 1:20. Tuesday rest, Wednesday 4 x 800m. Run 2 laps, walk 1. Keep them under 3 minutes. Thursday rest - Friday hit up your 3 mile. I used a plan like this when I was training for Ranger School and took my run time from 14:30 to 13:15 in about 4 weeks. Good luck! BTW -- It's harder than it looks, just push lol. Took a practice pt test today and ran a 12:56. Too bad it wasn't for record. Would've been a 300. Actual pt test is scheduled for 4 August so I'll keep on keepin on. Hopefully I'm feeling it on the 4th. My luck is I'll get a 260 when it comes down to the actual test.
RiseUpNation44
Great job man! Got me beat lol, insane improvement based on the amount of time that took you to drop your run so much. I max my PU and SU everytime but my run is stuck in the 13:15 - 13:30 range

Luofynerd
OPAT next week, so I can send in that correction and get board ready. Feel stupid for missing that requirement. I blame it on the fact that I've already applied before so didn't look at any of the examples online. Does anyone know if you need to submit the whole form on the OPAT or is it just the DA 61 with the commanders endorsement? I looked at the example packet and all it had was the commanders endorsement
Griffin99
I just got done with my BN Board today (75/75) and one of the helping ladies mentioned that this board is being pushed back to November. She may have been talking about results being posted, but I`m fairly confident she was speaking about the board in general. I do not want to spread rumors if I misheard. Has anyone heard any information or of something like this happening in a previous board? Thanks

Has anyone heard any information or of something like this happening in a previous board? Thanks I highly highly doubt that is true. Honestly, a majority of the people you come in contact with during the pursuit of the WOFT program don't usually have their facts straight; at least in my case. I wouldn't believe anything other than USAREC's WO recruiting website. If there is any changes to board dates, major info, etc., they are extremely vigilant in getting the info put on the website. Docness
You need it on the da61. The new checklist has it listed as well, after the the security memo I believe. I had my results uploaded onto OMPF/ personnel file. The grade is 1 for black. Hope this helps and good luck. OPAT next week, so I can send in that correction and get board ready. Interesting enough though it showed on the Milper I needed to complete the OPAT prior to attending WOCS.
