Warrant Officer LOR

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I am a civilian applying for WOFT, but I am having trouble finding a Warrant Officer to meet with me and possibly write a LOR. I have connections with commissioned officers and will likely have more than 3 from them, but from what I have been told, having one from a CWO is required. The officers I have spoken to don't know any above CW2 and I don't have any other connections with the military. Does anyone on here have any connections or any resources to find someone? I am willing to drive from Seattle to meet, or do phone and Skype interviews.

I appreciate your help!

Sabrina

Literally call around everywhere and ask. You never know. I didn't have one from a CW3(+) for my packet, and it went through.

Seattle, Washington. Willing to travel. Who would I call for this LOR?

16th CAB Staff Duty: (253) 477-3538

Ask for CW5 Hogg's office number. Also I think there is a 160th unit there with a few of them being on this forum possibly stearmann.

I figured I'd jump on this one instead of making a new one.

I have a CW3 LOR, but would prefer a stronger CW5 from my area. I'm at Joint Base MDL, NJ. I'm also from Southwest Missouri and will be there during December.

I want to update/upgrade my packet between boards. So that's why I am looking for a higher LOR and stronger one.

I am also in Missouri and looking for LORs. I haven't had much luck with Fort Leonard Wood. I don't think there is an aviation unit there so that is probably the issue. I am planning to try to reach out to someone at Fort Riley next and I am more hopeful about that

Fort Leonard Wood has a MO National Guard Aviation unit the 106th Aviation BN. They also have a unit at Whiteman AFB. The last time I worked a packet my SR WO LOR came from a pilot at Leonard Wood. Contact a NG recruiter and see if they have the number for the AGR teams at both locations to get started.

Thanks! That is an excellent idea. I will try this.
