I hope it is not the case that you do not realize or appreciate the fact that the Enstrom is a far better built and, quite frankly, safe helicopter, compared to the R series.

The R22 is very well built, and can take a lot of punishment (as I've read from muster pilot reviews) and I've always felt perfectly safe in it despite its tiny size and sensitivity!

The Enstrom is also a fine helicopter and very well built, and yeah, of course its safe, its big, wide and heavy!

,...but it is far from "better" than Robby, its simply a different design philosophy, for a different market.

You're comparing apples to oranges.

Even camparing the 22 to the 300 is pointless as they were both designed for different types of flying. The 300 was designed as a trainer, the 22 was deigned for Corporate Joe to take to work in the morning!

Now, if Enstrom wants to design something small, light, and affordable (because as I told the Enstrom rep at Heliexpo, "yeah its nice, but I can't afford the higher rental,...let alone purchase price") we can start comparing them!

,...and if Enstrom wants to design a light piston with a back seat, then we can start comparing it to the best selling helicopter in the world!
