LJS1993
No they haven't produced one as of yet. But if Cirrus ever did go rotor what would it produce?
pilotarix
OK let me take out my crystal ball real quick... A helicopter built by Cirrus will be super fast, with a glass cockpit and side-stick, very expensive, but first of all, it will have a fancy BRS system so they can tell everybody that flying a complex helicopter is easy and not dangerous, and in case something happens there would be the BRS system. Likely it will not be any different than with Cirrus fixed-wing aircraft and most of us have heard about their statistic...
BMA
I've never been a fan of cirrus. I know the BRS systems have had successful deployments, but they can turn nasty too. I would rather have the choice to auto than become a lawn dart.
overtorque
Parachutes will work on helicopters! Just ask Robinson helicopters they have mastered the art of detaching the main rotor in flight.
LJS1993
I think the testimonials of movie stars and sports athletes would be great for helicopters in general.
Eric Hunt
Come off it, a person who is so simple that he/she would buy an aircraft on the say-so of a sport player, would be too stupid to be able to fly it.
