Seminole
Hey VR community, First off this site has been invaluable and I appreciate everyone who takes the time to post here. I take the SIFT Thursday and thought other applicants might appreciate hearing my take on it. I have not found many posts about it recently so figured I'd post about it and knock out an intro simultaneously. __________________________________________ Age : 25Degree : B.S. I'm really hoping for a SIFT score in or above the 60s, doing my part to try and make that happen. I know selection rates are high but I'm trying to give 110% and submit the strongest possible packet. Ill post my detailed experience with the SIFT section by section on Thursday for those who come behind me. Lord have mercy on my hidden figures. Best of luck the everyone! mwoz
Good luck. I took the SIFT and scored a 69. Learning each term in the FAA Rotorcraft Flying Handbook helped me a lot on the test and almost every question on the Army Aviation Information Test looked familiar. There is an app on the play store called "Maximize the SIFT" which has practice questions and could be good last minute review before you take the test. TxMade85
Good Luck! I took mine today, scored a 49 which put me below average which is pretty much the story of my life. Then again, I have zero aviation experience and only studied for a little under a month. I personally couldn't get pass how horribly written some of the questions were (reading comprehension, AAIT.) Maybe it was just my PMOS playing tricks on me mentally, causing me to overthink them, Either way I'm glad it's over with. Long time lurker, but I plan to become more active as I make this journey. Seminole
Nice score Brickle! Yeah Tx I wouldn't worry too much about a 49, thats right on mean and like Simp said you can still get picked up. Just knock the rest of your packet out of the park! mike0331
Unfortunately there are often these issues when relying on others in the .mil. So I guess you got another learning experience there as well. Nobody except for you cares about your career, always remember that. I can't find it in the Apple App Store.
