Colorblind looking for a way around it

Hey yall! So Im trying to move on from Infantry to become a pilot, I have a 117 GT but the catch is Im Colorblind. They said minimal but still there, (they as in doctors) Im Red Green color blind. Anybody know anything on this?

Can you tell the difference between red and green on a traffic light? If so you can probably get a statement of demonstrated ability.

One of the instructors I know is colorblind with the limitation of day flights only.  So you can still fly if that's your dream.  But it sounds like you're trying to fly in the military, I don't know if you can do it but I wish you luck!  

 

The only way to find out for sure is to schedule a Class 1 flight physical and let them determine if you're eligible.
