Hey guys,

I'm an AD guy going to WOCS on April 4th. Was selected on the September board. Anybody else going then?

How did you get so lucky to go that early. I dont go till July 29th. Selected September too.

Although hrc did give me a hook up of reporting in May so I could transfer services early

Also street to seat slated for 19-011 selected in July. Not sure how the change to a 5 week course will impact the dates. Later start or earlier finish?

I'm in this class as well. Rumor is 5 week course will probably start 2 weeks later.

Prior service, now current Guard member. Selected for aviation March, fedrecd as a "WOC" around the July timeframe which is probably when they put the class request in for WOCS.

Yeah that is going to suck. BCT ends for me like March 27th, so two weeks pushed would put WOCS starting like april 23....I wonder if we can take leave after BCT and before WOCS starts..

I also wonder if pushing 2 weeks means we will have distance learning to complete like AD members do..

Its still the full 7 weeks in the schedule, but the new 5 week curriculum should be coming in to play, and from what I've been told the class will start 2 weeks later.

Yeah it looks like most of the guys going to this class are street to seat, which I'm totally happy about. I'm really excited to finally get down to Rucker.

I've been thinking about starting a FB group where we can all keep in touch before going down to school, it may have some other uses too after we graduate. What do ya'll think?

I guess its because there are many, many 7 week courses and only a couple 5 week courses per year. Although I'll be an NCO January 1 (I'm in BLC now) I applied as an E4. I guess not getting promoted quickly actually helped me out a little. What Branch are you coming from?

Marines coming in as a staff sergeant. But I think most sister service guys are starting in June-July.

Following this thread for sure.  I will likely be submitting my packet to the Jan. Board.  I want to get an idea of the time frame for BCT/WOCS.  Street to seat.
