Bell 206L-3 Ferry Flight opportunity (Oregon to Florida)

Recommended Posts

We're looking for a pilot with at least a private pilot certificate to join a ferry flight from Oregon to Florida in a Bell 206L-3. You will be accompanied by our chief pilot and all expenses (incl. hotels, food. except flight ticket) will be paid by us. Approx. flight time is 22-25 hours, depending on weather. This time will count towards TT and PIC time, if you're working towards a commercial rating, etc, or just need 206L time to meet insurance requirements.

We charge a flat fee of $8,000. We will meet you in Medford, OR (KMFR), where the flight will originate from.

Possible dates based on your availability:

04/26 to 04/28/2019 or 05/03 to 05/05/2019

Hmm. So "all expenses" aren't really "paid" by you. They come out of the $8,000 you're taking from the copilot.

Or am I reading that wrong?

Eh it's not too bad as far as these things go. That 363 dollars an hour for 206 time. Including food and hotels in it is a nice gesture as usually that would be price plus food and hotels. Sure it would be nicer if they gave the time away to someone but we're capitalists and this is the result. But the greater crime of this post... it's in the wrong sub forum.
