AFAST question

Recommended Posts

how much weight does the AFAST hold in relation to the other aspects of the application process. in the eyes of the board, is it a pass/fail/check the box sort of thing? never been the best test taker and just wondering how much a possible low score would fair against the things like a strong resume and amazing letters of recommendation.

any help would be appreciated

It's a pass/fail test.  If it comes down to the wire between you and some other guy getting in, then I've heard that the scores are used... but I have never heard of this happening.  You'll be fine.

No, 90 isnt the same thing as a 150, in the boards eyes. At least shoot for a 115-125. Do not be the bottom of the barrel guy. Active duty board is tuff, the Reservist board doesnt really care, because you are not competing against many.

Purchase the books, Arco military Aptitude flight tests, and Principles of helictoper flight wont hurt either
