Huey Posted May 19, 2006 Report Share Posted May 19, 2006 I had the chance to fly in with The Showcopters and fly out solo on Sunday in the R22. 40+ helos leaving at the same time at the end of Sunday's show is quite a sight, and a fixed-winger's nightmare!If you go, be sure to catch the R44 vs Bi-plane race. Unfortunatly only a few of us showed up. Goldy, If your confirmed on your flight, PM me you cel, and we can meet up there. My buddy and I are driving up, staying at the Marriott, and coming back the day of the show. Are you doing something for the Watsonville show?I saw the show last year driving up 101 with mi amore. We should have stopped! I kept saying hey I know those guys! She was like yeah, yeah, whatever...In those first pictures the small one has Tore and Allen by the main skyeye R44. I realized they went down in that ship just 6 days later. May they rest in peace.
