aviatorjames
A long and wonderful career comes to a happy ending... Ev Croes III is retiring. He is an incredible pilot and a true gentleman.Ev is a wonderful human being and I am proud to call him a friend! He was the first pilot hired here at Stanford Life Flight and has worked continuously at Stanford for 23 years!! In his previous life (lives) Ev flew in Viet Nam and then subsequently all over the World for various operators doing a little bit of everything, including flying for the Sha of Iran. We will all dearly miss his positive attitude, and his safe, fatherly figure gracing our presence. But I am so happy for him being able to retire on his own terms. For any of you that know Ev, please post a response with your story about him. Ev will still be flying with us for a couple of months while we find a replacement (..tough shoes to fill, indeed..) before the new EC-145 is delivered. Fly Safely!!!James Harris
