The reason I need this information is that people in my country know little about helicopter industry. they have money to buy a helicopter but they have no knowledge of what to choose and why. Using comparison charts is very effective. I have technical data and operating costs, adding information on lead times would make the chart complete. Anyway, I had little hope to get the answer... At the HAI Heliexpo earlier this year, the lead time for most of the manufacturers were averaging about 2 years. The times do vary from model to model. The exception were Enstrom and MD. The lead time for these companies were around 8 months. I would expect MD's lead times to become longer as they come back from the edge. Enstrom is a sleeper.
