snoogan6 Posted December 12, 2007 Report Share Posted December 12, 2007 The best advice I can give on the AFAST is: 1. Buy an AFAST study guide and be very familiar with its contents. 2. When you actually take the test, be careful on the Mechanical Knowledge portion. It will kill your score. If I remember correctly there are 25 - 30 questions and you have like 10 minutes to complete it. Only mark an answer if you are 100% positive you know the right answer. I only answered 5 of them on my test and I did fine. If you answer and get it wrong it will pull down your score significantly. Good Luck!!!
