invisionz
I am in the reserves and I want to fly, but in order to do so I will have to nurture and shape my packet. Almost every single aspect of it will be handled by yours truly, which is not really a big problem. I am curious and want to hear from successful candidates and recruiters (if any are here) what my chances for success are. 36 years old, when board convenes in Jan '08No Flight Physical Yet, I have Seasonal Allergies 122 GT108 AFASTAssociates DegreeCivilian Profession - Police OfficerI am currently mobilized as an MP Also, will I have to shop for and get accepted to a reserve unit or will they place me? Thanks,
FLHooker
You will have to shop for a NG unit if you wanna go NG, Reserves I'm not sure about, an active duty recruiter would be able to help you with that one. One issue would be the seasonal issue, that is if they Army knows about them. Another issue is that you will have to get an age waiver, however, as I'm sure you know, everything in the Army is waiverable, it's just paperwork. Make your packet as professional looking as possible, they will want a safe bet. Good luck! Any other questions, just ask. CHAD
