  1. 15 years or so ago there was an R22 being fitted with a turbine, I think it was for sale on ebay. Never heard anymore about it.
  2. Some years ago a pilot in Arkansas told a story about snagging a plastic bag on his rotorway as he was picking up. The off balance and drag caused him to wreck it. No wonder they call those bags "Witches Britches"
  3. Start out with a billion dollars and you'll be a millionaire in no time.
  4. Butters can you hang on for another 18 years?
  5. Yep, it's gone. I didn't get any notification that it had been deleted but it is gone. Go figure.

  8. Anyone know if the Mn pilots are still getting together? Who is attending the FAA program coming up in the cities?
  9. This is pretty unsettling. Why are they doing training like this over populated areas? Downtown Miami's Black Helicopters reagancoalition.comPolice state?
  10. I'm curious about the tail (rotor?) authority on the notar series. Someone here must fly them. What's it like?
  11. Guess there was photo flight crash about two days ago. Haven't seen anything else.
  12. I learned in a 300c they are good helicopters too. I need a trailer so I can take my 22 with me while working all over the midwest.
  13. I'm looking for a bumper hitch trailer to transport an R-22.
  14. I think that is automatic in an auto. My Grizzled Viet Nam chopper pilot turned instructor explained the maneuver as simple transition from one form of flight to another, ie powered to unpowered. Not a 'Panic' maneuver but a simple quick transition. That frame of mind helped me a lot.
