  1. ^^^above (2) post^^^ Ok, and I will do that, in all aspects. Thank you for the advice. -Dustin
  2. My point being is that I have given the past (28) years to riding/racing/stunting motorcycles and have become this good via passion and a ton of knowledge learned with a ton of broken bones and I am taking that same passion to flying and hopefully will fly as good as I ride...been riding since I was (3) years old and my Dad had multiple airplanes of which the first time I flew I was (7) and he let me take the controls flyn to the Bahama's, and went to college @ FCCJ's Aviation Center of Excellence, but throughout my life, fixed wing is pretty boring to me....and Helicopters are absolutely a whole new desire and passion for me. Just trying to let you guys know...I have a 110% invested; heart and soul! -Dustin
  3. Let me show you what I gave up to do to fly...I ride and stunt with Bill Dixon..#1 right now and not this good but can do a lot these tricks and thanks to him and many others and I am almost this good:
  4. Oh, that was great! I did go to college for marketing but never really thought about it in that aspect, I quit school when my father passed and yes, I have raced my whole life. That being said, some what your are saying is true, the other isn't. I agree with me marketing and promoting Boatpix, as I have invested a lot of time, money and sacrifice's, for this company; are there other schools out there...of course. I have had a few IM's from other members telling me that I shouldn't be sparring w/ ya. I respect that you have been flyn every since I probably had my first "poop" fair enough, however, I am doing my best to further my career and knowledge of the helicopter industry. And as I said prior...I apologize for coming off the wrong way. I am here to learn and become a better pilot...point blank, but will stand up for myself when being talked derogatory towards....PERIOD! -Dustin
  5. ^^^above^^^ I have had zero training as to landing in the water, my understanding is that the company uses the floats for emergency's, so that the ship is able to be recovered. I would like to further my education and learn any and all aspects of flying including water landings. I have been looking at photos of the Gambi G2 and it's shows it landing and taking off, this I would love to do one day. Were would you recommend getting training for water landings and what type of ship? Thanks. Fly Safe, Dustin
  6. Thanks, everyone!!! I really appreciate it. I am sometimes in a hurry when I post here, and am usually active on (5)-(6) different sites all at the same time and I understand, my wording might not come out as it should (I don't proof read it) because it is a forum. But I am trying my best when I can and will be a more respectful to the people of whom have more knowledge/experience; as well as more post on this site. At the end of the day, I really do love flying, every-time I hear a plane and/or a helicopter I run outside, just to see if I can identify it; just like I do with motorcycles still today. Thanks for the support, and hopefully we can all move forward and concentrate on what's most important; FLYING! Regards, Dustin
  7. I actually love how this one looks...is this a Eurocopter? Think this is probably out of my price range, but If I going to spend a lot on a heli, the aesthetic matter to me as well. -Dustin
  8. Personally I don't like the look of it plus this...j/k but thought you all would like if you haven't seen it already: http://video.search.yahoo.com/video/play?p=helicopter%2055&tnr=21&vid=1156843242987&l=69&turl=http%3A%2F%2Fts4.mm.bing.net%2Fvideos%2Fthumbnail.aspx%3Fq%3D1156843242987%26id%3D7693de9279697bdf5c5a57514b9411c0%26bid%3DSj8upnYUP1LTiA%26bn%3DThumb%26url%3Dhttp%253a%252f%252fwww.youtube.com%252fwatch%253fv%253daRJbp1Uz64s&rurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DaRJbp1Uz64s&sigr=11a1mtqf8&newfp=1&tit=Home+Built+Helicopter+Crash
  9. Exactly, but what's up with there site? I would like to see more info, however, thank you...Hmm now I really need to re-think and possible bring in another investor. I know this mod will not be cheap, and also I'm still new to flying and am taking step-by-step slowly. Thanks for the link. Fly Safe, Dustin
  10. @Rodrop, thanks...really appreciate it. I agree just take some things personally especially when I have my heart, soul and all my funds dedicated...I sold my raceshop of which I thought I would never do; to fly. I love flying over riding and never thought those words would come out of my mouth, but have noticed flying is very expensive. I will buy another bike, hopefully next year...2012 Daytona Triumph 675R model! But for now my heart is set for flying and learning the industry as much as possible and I study every day (3)- (5) hours and just don't want a negative opinion on me, I'm not a bad person; just passionate. Fly Safe, -Dustin
  11. Don't sell both sell me one...I'm in the market, IM me if interested. -Dustin
  12. Since it's in the experimental category...could you modify it for a turbine...I have been a motorcycle rider/racer and fabricator my whole life and know if there's a will there's a way. I have built dunebuddys with motorcycles engines and hummers with Ford big-blocks, just an idea I thought I throw out there. I personally think the A600 is a very sexy ship and if was turbine powered would be the way to go. Lets take it from here.... -Dustin
