  1. Cross posting as this my go to forum. Looking for info on which company has the best deals. I am in town this week and trying to take a flight with my girl who has never flown in a Helicopter. I am also going to propose this weekend but have not decided on a venue, was thinking one of you guys may have an inside track on how I might set something up to where I could maybe do it in the air? Any help greatly appreciated!!

  3. It's different for enlisted. I'm E3 with 2 and my HDIP is $5 per UTA.
  4. Bhahahaha If you ain't bout helicopters then I ain't F'in wit yall
  5. Well now I feel like an a**hole....Just seemed like something no one would ever correct someone on.
  6. Only an actual "SEAL" would really care....oh wait... no they wouldn't
  7. That's the unit I'm assigned to after AIT (1-244 AHB), I know it well. That unit only has M Model 60's which would all be equipped with IVHMS.
  8. Ugh...the "Y"....and the closer you get to the pond, the colder it gets. 16 degrees this morning on our little 3.8 miler
  9. Yep, you were right.....16:32 today, still just barely passing from the 16:36 min, but it's almost a full min faster than my BCT EOC....Hoping to be in the 15's by the end of it all...We run ALOT here in AIT. So far we've run 3-4 miles every other day or so. MWF are run days so it's either an AGR, Release Run, or 60/120's.
  10. Yea I remember you telling me they did that for you. Here hoping they do the same for me. I know that if we run regularly at AIT (which a lot of people say we do in C co.) then I can drastically improve my run time.
  11. Yea, it was my only option with my state's guard. They only allow enlisted and commissioned to apply for WOFT, no S2Ser's.
  12. Hell yea! Passed that BCT EOC AFPT with a 17:28 (17:30 was passing!) Proud of it! Not really, but I was at the time. Our company never really ran, and I was slow as molasses coming into BCT (19:55 on first 2MR!) and I still am. Hoping to get much faster with all the running they say we do in AIT.
  13. For anyone wondering, the answer is yes. You do get it, and it is discussed when you go through PAB at reception.
  14. Whlep, That was fun! No being screamed at for me......Lindsey.....lol.
  15. Shiped to Ft. Jackson last week, reception when by fine, albeit it sucked, but no issues. Two days before ship day I was cleaning the latrine, and while clean a tough spot off the mirror I cracked it. Long story short, I told the PG, he told the DS, DS said I had to pay for it, last I hear about it. Next thing you know, its ship day, and im standing in line waiting for the bus. DS calls me out of line and has me fill out a blank Statement of Charges so they have my info. As the busses are litterally pulling up, DS pulls me back out of line says the commander wants me to standfast until a proper SoC can be calculated by 1SG and I sign it. Of course its ship day and no one has time for that. So I get to watch the busses drive away as I stand there a healthy squared away soilder and fall into hold over status. If you've never been a hold over, it is terrible! Detail after detail, and the DS wont tell you anything!
  16. The packet cutoff for a board listed on the USAREC website is not the actual cutoff date. I've heard of people submit it a week before the board and get selected.
