  1. Thanks for that information! So I talked to finance as far as BAH goes... they told me that if I can somehow get deferred travel for dependents added to my orders, then I can submit a BAH Waiver through them and we would get BAH for Virginia (since it is a higher rate). Do you know anything about that? I may have to try to find a roommate for a couple of months to save some money, like you mentioned.
  2. Has anyone heard of a deferred PCS for dependents? My family would like to stay in Virginia until the end of May, due to school... not sure how to go about addressing this issue.
  3. EDIT: Luke91, outstanding persistence! I'm pulling for you man. I appreciate that RiseUpNation44! Same for you. Your stats makes you a great candidate.
  4. I applied in 2015 & 2016 and was NC-NS. Now I am applying for the 3rd year in a row. - Age: 26 - GT: 122 - SIFT: 46 - APFT: 294 - Military: 7 years Active Duty Army EOD - Civilian Education: AS in Aeronautics Degree with a 3.8 GPA / 73 semester hours towards a BS in Aeronautics with a 3.8 GPA - Flight: No Hours - Physical: Stamped/No Waivers - LORS: CO, BC, CW3, and CW4 Are there any Active Army Aviators that are willing to proof read my Summary?
  5. Thanks 15BTech! I actually did not know that until 3-4 weeks ago. Wish I had known that sooner. Regardless, it does not change my timeline for this year. Would have been handy the last 2 years though. Gideon, I am located at Fort AP Hill, VA
  6. Good luck to you as well Mezz. To answer your question from earlier.. I am looking at applying for the November 2017 Board.
  7. Krustchinsky, Thanks for the support. Locating a CW5 for a LOR is the plan! Hopefully I can get that accomplished soon.
  8. Mezz, I think I know what you are talking about. For example: I applied for the September Board and was FQ-NS. So my packet automatically got put into the November Board (for a 2nd chance). In November I was NS-NC. That was my last chance for a year from the date on my DA 61. Once I wait a year, I can apply again. As for as I know, you can apply every year until you are too old or something like that. Which there are waivers for that kind of stuff as well.
  9. I broke down and decided to get on here in hopes of receiving feedback towards my 2017 packet. I applied in 2015 & 2016 and was FQ-NS. Now I am looking at applying this year for a 3rd time. Currently... Age: 26 GT: 122 SIFT: 46 APFT: 291 Military: 7 years AD Army EOD . Civilian Education: AS in Aeronautics Degree with a 3.88 GPA. 73 semester hours towards a BS in Aeronautics with a 3.88 GPA Flight: No Hours Physical: Stamped/No Waivers LORS: CO, BC, CW3, and CW4 Volunteer Hours: 300 Hours I am working towards getting a 300 on my APFT, possible flight time, and hoping to locate a CW5 for a LOR. I need all of the help that I can get, as I truly want to be selected this year. Any thoughts?
