  1. The app good reader it's basically what everyone uses here to organize files and easily manage them. Look into a quality kneeboard. There's some niche shops on etsy or Instagram that make an expensive, but for me far superior to what you can find at the hangar.
  2. And write your member of Congress. Just a reminder our beloved new PT test was suspended by congress so let your people know.
  3. Also what briefs are all these people going to with the CCWO? Never had one here with him yet. Only hear about this stuff once every few months from a random W1 Edit: Asked some people in the upper echelons. It is signed. Boyyyy were all screwed
  4. Contact your local congress rep quick fast and in a hurry.
  5. Interesting I think it was either 3 and change or 4 weeks for me with 5 for BI
  6. That's BWS. Which how it was a few months ago when I finished common core.
  7. Exactly. Warrant news network. Worst comes to worst if all these students reach out to their congressional reps I'm sure it would at least get suspended for a while. Aka ACFT style
  8. I've been here going on a year and half and never heard it in person. There is currently no published policy regarding TIG reset
  9. Is this that same policy that's be rumored for years and the CWOB keeps telling everyone. I have yet to have a single briefing where this has been mentioned here
  10. You will receive and email that you will have an RFO available on AIM. You can also check aim on your own to see if you're bored
  11. The *** Mandatory documents for every application *** at the top of the page and then the LOR highlighted with the same three asterisks would mean it is mandatory.
  12. You already posted a topic once on this before.
  13. I had very very similar stats on my board just different MOS, also fq-ns first go but select on second. I redid my bio to really sell my years of experience more and took another da photo as well as an additional LOR.
  14. For wocs terrain association all day, only used the compass once. You get a class or two in map reading and interpretation but not nav itself so ensure you know how to figure out attack points and back stops. Sere land nav dead reckon especially at night
  15. Yeah basically from what I understand cause the active is by active needs.
  16. From the selection powerpoint: "Per USAACE policy, active duty officers and warrant officers select their advanced airframe based on the cumulative grades earned during the courses leading up to the completion of Common Core. USAACE G3 determines airframe MDS distributions. Compo 2/3 students are assigned aircraft by their owning state. MSC Students only fly HH-60s." (Aka 67J's) So active duty competes against each other O vs O/WO Vs WO but not O vs WO. NG/USAR/67J all should already know their advanced airframes and not really a factor, but kinda a factor. BN gets the stats for projected Army needs a day ahead or so and then everyone (active duty) is racked and stacked based on OML which the breakdown of that can be found on teams also. This is my best interpretation of everything I've seen and told from people in the pit.
  17. They are usually Thursday-ish give or take but yeah on Facebook. There's another one tomorrow
  18. two weeks ago ish Apaches - 9 Blackhawks - 16 Chinooks - 1 C12s - 3
  19. Last week Apaches - 8 Blackhawks - 2 Chinooks - 0 C12’s - 5"
  20. So some initial thoughts. I can change the name on your essay to almost anyone and it would still fit them, I don't see anything besides gunnery and artillery that says who and what you are. Your bio needs to reflect everything that you are as a unique individual. You have 8 years in service, you need to sell all your years of experience and the vast amount of knowledge you will bring. Qualitative and quantitative! Give an example with numbers or events where you demonstrated similar attributes of a Warrant. You have it in there many times of your knowledge skills etc you will bring. Tell me about them and how they will make you an outstanding candidate. Army loves to see numbers and I would go right to them to see what you're selling. Don't waste your word count with definitions without tying it into something that sells you or benefits you. Its just fluff. I was a first time FQ-NS and second round select. My first bio was short and succinct, my second I used the whole space available but it all had purpose. Like I've said above, use your experience to sell yourself and then loop back if needed to referencing something you think is pertinent. Thesaurus, try and get some juicy big words in there. Switch out or rephrase sentences like I wish, I think, I believe etc. Any college? gpa? Community service? Audie Murphy or anything that similar that can benefit you? Phone a friend! I'm not great at grammar at all so can't critique you there, but I had roughly 8 or so people I trusted and who knew me well look over my essay, sit down with me and give feedback on what to add subtract etc. Sometimes rewriting whole paragraphs if needed. Hit me up with a pm of your email and I can send you my bio for referencing, I had 7 years TIS when I was selected.
  21. Dang I have to go back in the closet? Let me tell the other gays here 😂
  22. Hasn't the DOR reset been a thing coming very soon for the past how many years? And now with covid my bubbles have been pretty big between everything. Got here early June and havnt started common core yet. With more time here by the time I get to my first duty station maybe 4 months till I get ready for cw2
  23. There some articles written on the program that explain it out there on the googles
