  1. Best advice I can give you is to just have everything board ready and submitted by the "packet deadline". 1. Civilian and AD. 2. Yes, but I wouldn't trust the army. Those updates will be at their mercy and no one cares more about your packet than you. So updates might not always be submitted in time by them even if you submit the updates two weeks ahead of the updates deadline 3. No they do not do interview boards anymore for WOFT applicants. 4. Vertical reference is the best website to find selection rates. Last board was like 28% and the board before that was 33% FYI.
  2. For civilians the list will probably get "leaked" Thursday or Friday. I'm sure a few people will start hearing back from their recruiters around Wednesday at the earliest.
  3. We have the same. Did they send you to Sill?
  4. Wasn't the pilot shortage due to poor retention of CW3/4's and not so much a shortage of new pilots coming in? I know the Air Force has a pilot shortage, but they don't have a problem filling slots for flight school.
  5. Civilian (First Look - May 2019 Board) Age: 23 GT:123 SIFT: 47 APFT: 283 College: B.S. at Texas A&M University - Management - GPA 2.9 LoR's: (NG O-7 UH-60 pilot, Marine Corps O-5 AH-1W pilot, Army CW4 160th MH-60 pilot, Army CW3 UH-60 pilot, Army MI E-5 Boss, Boss with PPL) four know me personally Flight Physical: Stamped (no waivers) Flight Experience: Two hours in the UH-60 Mike & Lima Simulators Little extra side stat was that I ran track in college, specifically the sprint team. I don't know if that helped or not.
  6. Haha I log in to see what's up. I look at the bottom of the tread to see almost everyone is here on the "user(s) are reading this topic". Congrats Dying2fly! I think it's safe to say if I was a smoker I'd be on pack #3 by now, especially after reading that someone already knows their results.
  7. No, it is not a requirement anymore. I think even for the OCS board you don't have to do it anymore either.
  8. 48% selected. Wonder how many FQ-NS had bachelors? I'd be interested to see the FQ-NS averages.
  9. Civilian Age: 22 GT:123 SIFT: 47 APFT: 283 College: B.S. at Texas A&M University - Management - GPA 2.9 LoR's: (NG O-7 UH-60 pilot, Marine Corps O-5 AH-1W pilot, Army CW4 160th MH-60 pilot, Army CW3 UH-60 pilot, Army MI E-5 Boss, Boss with PPL) four know me personally Flight Physical: Stamped (no waivers) Flight Experience: Two hours in the UH-60 Mike & Lima Simulators Good Luck Everyone!
