  1. Yes…literally. Graduated two weeks after being selected.
  2. Don’t know the class number yet but my son’s start date for WOCS is 6OCT2021…he ships out for Basic Training tomorrow morning.
  3. He is correct that the reserve box Hass to be checked… However, he is not correct in saying that you are a reserve officer until CW2. No worries. The board is for active duty unless you came in and applied through a Reserve component unit or the National Guard.
  4. Your flight physical will be two parts...hopefully you can do it all on one day (morning and afternoon), especially if you live far from the medical clinic. Once the physical is complete and submitted to Fort Rucker for evaluation and determination you will most like have the results in less than two weeks. And yes, stay the course...it’s arduous if you really want to chase this opportunity! Let me know if you have any questions.
  5. Congrats to you and thank you! He’ll be seeing you!
  6. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
  7. Ditto...I know the S2S packet inside out...I also know the process and I have an inside scoop to what the board really “cares” about...what is important. Bottom line, this is not a board you prepare for in mere months...it takes time to get the right things in order...make your packet strong by hitting certain paramount gates.
  8. Yes...on the spot. AD warrant applicants’ are always much later start dates from what I’ve seen and heard.
  9. Yes, Sir...I’m taking my son to MEPS first thing this morning as well...I have the privilege of being the one administering the oath of enlistment to him! Definitely not rushed if you have zero apprehensions about the path you have been given the opportunity to take!!
  10. Thanks a lot! No binder...just brought the documents we had control of (LoRs, essay, resume, pilot’s license, log book, volunteer certificates, stamped flight physical, and a couple other miscellaneous documents) to the recruiter. He completed and compiled all other packet requirements (test scores, security clearance request, enlistment documents, OPAT scoresheet, etc) and ultimately scanned them into the electronic board file that recruiters use to submit the packet to their respective BN for review. All in all, time intensive, attention to detail kind of “stuff”.
  11. Absolutely! If you can’t get ahold of your recruiter to learn the results, PM me. Congratulations to those that were selected!
  12. Acknowledge all...expect he will be coached and mentored by peers and seniors with more experience...he is a confident but humble dude...he has good mentors now. It’s what we as seniors do. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
  13. Congratulations to you! My son is the one that was selected...you would see him! LOL Airborne!
