  1. I think you should go for it. If your wife is happy then do it. Nothing worse than feeling stuck in a life you hate, almost worse than prison if you can't see a way out. You should know that he advice on here is totally true. My cousin runs a bar now after 10 years working all over the world in this industry...it can be brutal.
  2. Surely the most important traits for a helicopter pilot is hand eye co-ordination, reaction times and being calm under pressure. Perhaps a degree might help the calm under pressure but other than that a waste of time. Get out there flying...you will soon learn to be calm in tight situations 🙂
  3. What a great question. The explanations from experience are good and lead to Chris's final summary. Really helpful to have this in the back of your mind...constant tiny adjustments from your own supercomputer 🙂
  4. How are your neighbors going to feel about landing there, pretty anti-social, let alone dangerous...
  5. If you are in the UK, these guys will be able to advise you on what type and what plug, Mendelsohns I totally agree that it is unusual to have to buy your own for training.
