I'm currently a sophomore attending a 4 year private university with a major in Criminal Justice.   3. So this is really just a cry for help and advice. I just came off of active duty and planned to use my GI Bill for flight school training. I was accepted to BRCC and Guidance Aviation and set to start flight school in January. Yesterday I was informed that the VA will no longer be paying for Private Licenses at this school and that I was put on a Veterans waiting list for the Comerial, CFI, Instrument Rating, etc.. portion of school.   5. Well, just like the topic says, has anyone used the GI Bill recently for flight school? I’m sure this has been asked before but as anyone that has used the GIB knows it changes every other day. I am currently enrolling in Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) for their Flight Management program with a focus in flight training rotary wing (they offer fixed wing, ATC etc. also). I plan to finish the AS in a year and finish my BS the following year at Embry-Riddle or University of Maryland. I’m just wondering about your experiences and any advice you guys might have.
