THE IMPORTANCE OF TRAINING AT HIGH ALTITUDE Established in 1998, Guidance Aviation was the first Part 141 high altitude helicopter flight training school in the United States. We chose this high altitude location so while you learn to fly at high altitude, you'll develop the experience necessary to fly anywhere your career takes you. How does everyone else feel about flying 6-7000ft MSL and only being 2000ft AGL Better to learn or worse?<f<

Ive been researching flight schools for a long time and have come down to one of these two. Im from NH and want to stay in the area, which is why I want to go to northeastern. The only reason I want to go to guidance is because they are at a higher elevation, and I want to work in the mountains. The thing is, Ive lived in that area before and I didnt like it at all. Is training at higher elevation really going to make a big difference on my job prospects? Ive looked up reviews on both schools and they both seem good, but does anybody have any further input?

Just recently Guidance Aviation received a letter from one of the most well known tour operators in the world with the largest fleet of Eco-Star Helicopters in the united states. This letter talked about how the High Density Altitude and mountain flying we do right here in Arizona make our pilots some of the best anywhere in this world that you could fly a Helicopter. Both Maverick and Guidance are Veteran owned organizations and do the best they can to place our incoming vets into the best jobs with the best training anywhere around. I highly encourage everyone to read through Guidance Avia
