Hey, everyone...good evening. Havent found a room/board that deals primarily with discussions surrounding street to seat, specifically high school seniors. My son graduates high school in May and has completed his WOFT packet in time to be submitted for this May’s WOFT board. Anyone, parent or high school candidate, out there in the same situation?

I am a civilian trying to submit a packet for the July Board (deadline in May). I have everything needed in the checklist accept the S2 Security Clearance Verification Review. My recruiter is citing covid-19 for not being able to start working on this. Do I need the recruiter to accomplish this checkbox or can it be done seperate of them? I have a filled out SF-86 form on hand and I remember filling out similar information for them about a year ago. My understanding is that the full investigation takes a few months for the interviews, can the packet be submitted while it's taking place? Whats

I apologize if the info that I am searching for has already been discussed on this forum. I am a prior service street to seat applicant. My AD mentor has questioned the form I sent for my LOR. Given my application path and prior service should I be using HQ USAREC Form 3.3? All of my LORs will be from AD personnel. I have asked my recruiter and he has no idea. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hello, I am looking for help or advice on how I can receive a recommendation from a Warrant Officer in the Army that flies helicopters. I'm 26 year old and have a college degree, I currently work on an engine in Wildland Firefighting but have a strong interest in flying helicopters with the Army. I have good physical fitness and I'd love the chance to meet with a current pilot and talk. Do you think now is a good time to be applying to the army as a pilot? How is the balance between your work life and balancing that with your personal life? Do you feel you are satisfied with the jobs t

Hey there, I'm new to this forum and was very happy to find a boatload of information from the stickies and other posts. I'm a Freshman at UIC, and I hope to put in my packet in 2019. I worry about my viability as a competitive candidate for a number of reasons. Of course the first being my age; I have heard wonderful stories of 18/19/20 year old who have successfully made it in, and it seems that their backgrounds are inlaid with excellent community service, extra curriculars, great LORs...etc. I have been an average student throughout high school and didn't really do much outside of cl

Hi everyone, I am a high school senior who is very interested in the Army's high school to flight school scholarship/program. A little about me, I an attending an instate university in the fall and participating in NROTC. The marine corps is my first choice of branch but I am looking for every opportunity where I can serve and lead the troops that keep our country safe, hopefully while flying rotary wing aircraft. I was not interested in the Army at first, but I have worked with a WO5 who will write me a LOR and who advised me to apply for the board. Let me be clear that I am NOT applying fo

Currently in the process of compiling my civilian WOFT Packet. I know you go to BCT, but where do civilian 153a contracts go for BCT? I know its BCT > WOCS > WOFT, and I know the last 2 are obviously at Rucker. But I can't find any information on BCT for civilian 153a's. Any info would be helpful.
